Reading Solutions is dedicated to providing all-inclusive reading strategies where non-readers, avid readers, struggling readers, and English learners can come together in reading and learning through engaging in critical thinking and communication.
It is a place for teachers, parents, students and those of all ages and backgrounds to find innovative fun ways to build comprehension, communication, critical thinking, and genuine love for reading and life-long learning.
Reading Solutions is created by Teri Azar, a passionate life-time reader and 39 year reading specialist. Teri earned her BA in Sociology/Psychology and M.Ed. and teaching credentials from UCLA. Recently earning her CLAD, English language learner certificate, also from UCLA, she has come to identify those researched-proven best teaching strategies found here in her games, activities, and books that have been so effective and efficient throughout her career. She has taught as an elementary and junior high school teacher in both private and public schools, at the college level, as well as a teacher-trainer and lecturer at the college graduate school level in CA and abroad.
